How to tackle excess salt
Excess of salt in any dish ruins it, and this mistake is very common in all kitchens. Here’s how you can tackle this faux pas.
Wash and peel a raw potato.
Cut it into two to four pieces.
Add it to the gravy or dal which has excess salt.
Let it remain in the dish for 10 minutes. The potato will absorb the excess salt from gravies.
Discard the potato pieces before serving.
