Ingredients
- Basmati rice, cooked (1 cup)
- Raw mango, grated (1 cup)
- Mustard seeds (sarson) (1 tsp)
- Split black gram (uraddal) (1 tsp)
- Split Bengal gram (chanadal) (1 tsp)
- Ginger (adrak), chopped (1 inch)
- Dry red chillies (sabutlalmirch) (2)
- Green chillies (2)
- Curry leaves (kadipatta) (5-6)
- Coriander leaves (haradhania), finely chopped (2 tbsp)
- MTR Haldi Turmeric Powder (a pinch)
- Oil (2 tbsp)
- Salt (To Taste)
Method
• Heat some oil in a kadhai. Throw in the sarson, urad dal and chana dal.
• Then, add chopped adrak, sabutlalmirch, green chillies, kadipatta and the MTR Haldi/Turmeric Powder.
• Add the grated mango, salt and sauté till it becomes tender. Add the cooked rice and mix well.
• Garnish with haradhania and serve hot.
